A new gym is opening in Chang Khian on Monday 4th May, offering strength training, functional movement and combat sports on a no-contract, no auto-renewal basis. This is great news for the many of us who have been burned by our own over estimation of gym commitments, allowing us to ease into the routine without pressure!
BoxFit CNX launches with three training areas: a fully air-conditioned weights room with free weights and machines; a covered box area combining weights, punchbags and functional training; and a private air-conditioned studio available for independent coaches running yoga, dance, mobility and martial arts sessions.
“We built BoxFit CNX for people who want to get stronger and move better but don’t want the usual gym complications,” said Ben, one of the founders. “No contracts. No auto-renewal. No hard sell. You train because you want to.”
The gym opens in soft-launch mode, with the team continuing to add equipment and finishing touches based on member feedback over the coming weeks.
Before the official opening, BoxFit CNX is hosting a free drop-in day on Saturday 2nd May from 9am to 4pm — no booking required. The full facility will be open to the public.
A founding member pass is available for 600 baht for 30 days of full access, half the standard monthly price of 1,200 baht. Members who remain continuous after the first month pay 1,000 baht per month going forward. Standard pricing runs 200 baht for a drop-in, 600 baht for a week and 1,200 baht for a month.
The gym also offers space and marketing support for independent coaches, plus personal training in western boxing and martial arts. Facilities include separate changing rooms with hot showers, lockers, on-site parking, Wi-Fi and 24-hour CCTV. The great location is approximately 2.5km from Nimman Road, and just off both Huay Kaew and the Canal Roads.
Opening hours from 4th May are 6.30am–8pm Mondays to Fridays and 7am–8pm on weekends.
