Money Expo 2026 Chiang Mai Returns for Its 21st Edition, Bringing Financial and Investment Opportunities to Northern Thailand

The 21st Money Expo Chiang Mai, officially known as MONEY EXPO 2026 CHIANGMAI, will take place from 6–8 November 2026 at Chiang Mai Hall, Central Chiang Mai Airport, bringing together leading banks, financial institutions, securities firms, asset management companies and insurance providers from across Thailand.
Organised by Money & Banking Magazine, this year’s event will be held under the theme “AI WEALTH CREATION – Driving Wealth Creation Through the Power of AI”, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence in financial planning, investment strategies and business development.
Ms. Pakanee Viriyarangsarit, Co-Chairperson of Money Expo, announced that the three-day event will offer a comprehensive range of financial products and services, along with exclusive promotions and special campaigns available only during the exhibition.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore home loans, personal loans, car financing, SME loans, credit cards, savings accounts, government savings lottery products, life and general insurance, stocks and mutual funds. Representatives from participating financial institutions will be available to provide advice and help visitors compare financial products suited to their individual needs.
Supporting Chiang Mai’s Growing Economy
The event comes as Chiang Mai enters its peak tourism season, with the province targeting tourism revenue of at least 120 billion baht and approximately 12.5 million visitors in 2026. This represents an increase from the previous year’s estimated 110 billion baht in tourism revenue and more than 11 million visitors.
Growth is expected to be supported by a 37% increase in scheduled festivals and events, alongside tourism initiatives such as the “Aew Nuea Khon La Khrueng” campaign and the growing popularity of spiritual and faith-based tourism, which helps distribute income to local businesses and communities.
Against this backdrop, MONEY EXPO 2026 CHIANGMAI aims to strengthen access to financial opportunities across Northern Thailand, supporting individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses through financing, savings, investment and financial risk management.
The event will also promote the practical application of AI technology in personal financial planning and business development, reflecting this year’s focus on technology-driven wealth creation.
