CityNews – The Ministry of Tourism and Sports is proposing night clubs opening hours move up to 4am.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports is planning on proposing to the cabinet an extension of night club opening hours. The proposal suggests that night club will be allowed to open up to 4am with the goal to increase the spending on nightlife by 25%.
Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the Minister of Tourism and Sports further explained that the approach will be applied only in highlight destinations such as Silom in Bangkok, Pa Tong Beach in Phuket, the city of Pattaya and Samui Island, and that the proposal is not guaranteed to be approved by the cabinet.
