MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center invites locals and visitors to experience the enchanting beauty of Lanna culture at “MAYA LANNA LANTERN 2026.” The area in front of the shopping center will be transformed into an artistic showcase featuring “Long Sapao” (the traditional Lanna floating boat ritual), a captivating installation created by VASSANA (Ajarn Wassana Saima), an internationally recognised Lanna artist.
The striking artistic sculpture reflects ancient beliefs and traditional wisdom surrounding the Lanna Sapao ritual, offering visitors an opportunity to discover the beauty and cultural significance of this cherished northern Thai tradition.

Sapao Weaving Workshop: Spend THB 1,500 on shopping or dining to redeem a place at a traditional Sapao weaving workshop and meet Ajarn Wassana Saima from VASSANA. Three sessions will be available: 11am–12pm, 3pm–4pm, and 7pm–8pm.
