Mars and Jupiter to Appear Close in Night Sky on 17-19 October

CityNews – According to Dr Saran Posayachinda, deputy director of the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand, between 17th – 19th October, there will be a phenomenon called “planetary grouping” where Mars and Jupiter will appear close to each other in the night’s sky.

People can watch this phenomenon with their bare eyes, looking up towards the east from around 4.30am till dawn.

The planets will appear closest on October 18.
