On 21st July 2020 Sean Buranahiran, the self-styled life coach who has been under fire for many weeks following accusations that he misappropriated funds donated towards the fire fighting efforts earlier this year has finally spoken out after many weeks of silence.

Sean, along with his lawyers, gave an interview to reporters explaining that he had just taken all documents to prove his innocence to the police.

He asked for forgiveness from the Chiang Mai people who may have lost confidence in him and said that he apologised sincerely and to show his good faith, he said that he is finding the right time to go and meet the governor of Chiang Mao so that he can hand over 1.3 million baht of his own money.

He went on to explain that the donated monies received were partly used in firefighting efforts while others were used in various activities surrounding the efforts, claiming that there was no intention of misusing the funds at all.

He then said that it has been a very hard time for him to see the backlash on social media and to see some of the heavily edited video clips condemning him, but he believes that he has now proven his innocence.
