With recent heavy rains there have been reports of landslides on the road up to Doi Surhep-Pui, reportedly one near the San Ku archeological site’s nearby camping grounds.
Since the road plunges into a deep ravine, it is advised that the public avoids this area for the time being.
Officials will work to fix the road but say they will also be posting warnings and advisory routes as well as putting up warning signals.
