9–11 October 2026
At Jing Jai Market, Jing Jai Central, Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai – Jing Jai Market, located within Jing Jai Central Chiang Mai, one of Central Group’s initiatives dedicated to sincerity and care, continues to serve as a model for sustainable community living. The market invites visitors to the 2nd “Jing Jai Eco Connect”, taking place from 9–11 October 2026, with a focus on promoting environmental awareness across all dimensions while creating sustainable income opportunities for local farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs, and supporting Chiang Mai’s circular economy.
Under the theme “To be Continued: Do It Today for a World That Truly Changes,” the second Jing Jai Eco Connect brings together inspiring ideas for sustainable living, along with activities that promote environmental awareness and support local green products, healthy food and local cuisine. Visitors can also enjoy live music surrounded by a diverse collection of greenery.
Over the three-day event, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities designed to inspire positive change for both the planet and everyday life, including:
Eco Market – Discover upcycled products, green innovations and stylish items creatively made from discarded materials, as well as thoughtfully designed products crafted from sustainable natural materials.
Eco Workshop – Take part in hands-on workshops that explore sustainability and transform small ideas into meaningful actions for the planet. Activities include making eco-friendly handkerchiefs from recycled fibres and natural indigo dye, learning sustainable coffee-dripping techniques, painting with natural stone colours, creating dreamcatcher necklaces from natural materials, and dyeing headscarves using indigo and turmeric.
Eco Talk & Eco Demonstration – Gain fresh perspectives on environmental issues through discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions led by practitioners in the field. Topics include sustainable waste management at Jing Jai Market, conversations with Bono Brand on contemporary Lanna craft and sustainable fashion, innovative materials for landscape architecture, and sustainable living from Maejo University. Visitors can also enjoy demonstrations of practical techniques for more sustainable living.

Special “Swap Market” – Exchange clothes and other pre-loved items and help reduce waste through a Zero Waste approach that gives fashion and everyday belongings a meaningful second life.
Trashion Show Contest – Be inspired by a creative fashion show featuring designs made from recycled materials under the theme “LITTLE MAKERS, BIG CHANGE.” The event showcases the creativity and imagination of young designers who transform discarded materials into unique and playful fashion pieces. The contest will take place on Sunday, 11 October 2026.
Visitors can also explore and support handmade products and beautifully designed crafts from local producers in Chiang Mai and across Northern Thailand, enjoy sustainable and environmentally friendly food, and discover healthy products at Jing Jai Farmers Market, Central Group’s first organic farmers market. The farmers market takes place on the mornings of Saturday, 10 October, and Sunday, 11 October 2026.
