CityNews – It has been reported that the mass rate of Cambodian workers leaving Thailand has slowed down considerably at Sa Kaew’s Aranyaprathet border area.

We recently reported that hundreds of thousands of Cambodian workers were leaving Thailand due to fears of a military crackdown on migrant labour. According to officials and immigration police, there has been notably less movement of Cambodians returning back across the border at the Sa Kaew’s Aranyaprathet border area.

The Aranyaprathet border saw less than 500 Cambodian immigrants crossing the border yesterday, compared to the 3,000 immigrants that were leaving daily. More Cambodian workers have also been seen returning to work at the Rong Kleu Border Market and other areas.
