CityNews – 8th April 2020, Chiang Mai Governor Charoenrit Sanguansat, has issued an order to stop all alcohol sales between 10th to 20th April 2020.
Citing the need to elevate the standards of caution and control of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all alcohol sales will be suspended for the duration of the order.
Anyone found to be in violation of this will face up to one year in jail and or a fine of up to 100,000 baht.
