CityNews – A film about the world famous rescue mission of 13 young footballers earlier this year, titled The Cave, is set to screen this year.
Following the rescue mission of the teenage footballers and their coach at Tham Luang Khun Nam Nang Nong, Chiang Rai that made headlines across the world, the film titled The Cave has been announced to screen this year. The film is directed by Tom Waller who has produced The Last Executioner and Mechanic: Resurrection starring Jason Statham.
The Cave is set to screen in July this year, starring big name Thai actor, Nirut Sirijanya, though his role in the film has not been announced yet. The recue divers who were at the incident and are in the film include Jim Warny from Belgium along with Canadian Erik Brown and Tan Xiaolong from China.
