Earlier today a fight broke out at Mae Jo University after a man became frustrated that he was unable to buy marijuana plants, after having stood in line for so long.
He said later that he had driven all the way from Saraphi but was then told that today’s quota had run out.
He began berating the staff for bad service and matters soon got out of hand. A fight broke out and there were minor injuries.
Mae Jo University says it’s currently selling only 400 plants per day, with each of the 80 buyers allowed five plants each. Each sapling is going for 30 baht.
