The new fees apply to areas such as the Pha Lat Nature Trail, Huai Kaew Waterfall, Wang Bua Ban–Pha Ngoap Waterfall, Doi Pui, and Suan Son Resort. Thai visitors will be charged 10 baht for children and 20 baht for adults. Foreign visitors will be charged 50 baht for children and 100 baht for adults.
There is no entrance fee for tourists visiting Wat Doi Suthep and Wat Pha Lat by the main road.
Of the total revenue collected from entrance fees, five percent will be returned to the local communities surrounding the park. 20 percent will go to the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation to manage and develop tourist attractions and improve services for visitors. The funds will also be used in emergencies, such as responding to natural disasters within the park
