CityNews – The National Park Office has announced that several national parks will be temporary closing to aid rejuvenation of the nature and wildlife in the area.
8 national parks in Chiang Mai will be closed, with most reopening in September or October.
Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, several areas including Kew Lom camping area, Huai Hian waterfall, Pu Muen waterfall and Mae Hang waterfall are closed from 1st July – 30th September.
Doi Wiang Pha National Park, Wiang Pha mountain top area is closed from 1st May – 30th September.
Doi Suthep–Pui National Park, Doi Pui camping area is closed from 1st May – 31st October.
Doi Inthanon National Park, Kew Mae Pan nature trail is closed from 1st July – 31st October.
Pha Daeng National Park, Jang-Pa Hok cave, Lom cave, Ngam cave and Pha Daeng cave are closed without a current reopening schedule.
Si Lanna National Park, Mon Hin Lai waterfall is closed from 1st July – 30th September.
Huai Nam Dang National Park, camping area is closed from 1st May – 30th September.
Op Luang National Park, camping area is closed from 1st August – 31st October and Mae Tia waterfall is closed from 1st July – 30th September.
