Doi Inthanon is Thailand’s highest peak, and the cool weather attracts many tourists to the park in Chom Thong district at this time of year.

Park chief Pornthep Charoensuebsakul said the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will waive the admission fee on those two days as part of the government’s policy of returning happiness to the people, the National News Bureau of Thailand reported.

Afterwards, the admission fee for foreigners at the national park will be adjusted to 150 baht for children and 300 baht for adults, he said.

Doi Inthanon National Park boasts many eco-tourism and adventure tourism sites.
