Yesterday’s partial solar eclipse was seen across Thailand between 1am and 4.10am.

It was shown live on the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) Facebook page and watched by countless people across the nation. In spite of announcements that that the Princess Sirindhorn AstroPark in Mae Rim, which officially reopened on the 19th June, would not be welcoming visitors, people flocked there anyway.

The park authorities brought out some telescopes and accommodated its visitors who shared images across social media.

Most of the chatter on social media, however, has been about astrology and luck and fortune. But we sifted through most of that and found you some pictures of the pretty shadows found from the eclipse.
