CityNews – On Tuesday night (10th June) The National council for Peace and Order (NCPO) extended the deadline for the hand over of guns, ammunition and explosion weapons. They also announced that they were lifting the curfew in 20 provinces.
The provinces included Karnchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Nakornpanom, Sakonnakorn, Roi-et, Loei, Surin, Tak, Sukhothai, Mae Hong Son, Uttradit, Phrae, Nan, Trang, Satun,,Petchaburi: Khao Yoi, Nong Ya Plong, Tha Yang, Ban Lat, Ban Laem, Kaeng Krachan and Muang
Some districts of Songkhla: Klong Yai, Khao Saming, Bo Rai, Laem Ngob, Koh Kood and Muang districts of Trat, Sadao and Muang are also free from the late night restrictions.
Chiang Mai remains under lockdown, despite protests from many local businesses.
