Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN Bangkok has taken its T-Beauty Roadshow to Chiang Mai, spotlighting Lanna as ASEAN’s next emerging Beauty & Wellness hub. Organized by Informa Markets for Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN Bangkok 2026, the roadshow is held under the theme “Building the T-Beauty Brand: From Thai Identity to Regional and Global Beauty Products.” The event brings together leading voices from the Thai Spa Association, Tropicana Oil Co., Ltd., and Tofu Skincare Co., Ltd., aiming to inspire northern entrepreneurs to step onto the global beauty stage.

According to Mr. Sanchai Numnon, General Manager of Informa Markets Thailand, T-Beauty is more than just a passing trend. It reflects growing global interest in Thailand as a source of unique herbs, traditional wisdom, and cultural identity that cannot easily be replicated. Northern Thailand, in particular, has long been recognized as one of the country’s most important centers for beauty and wellness businesses.

“As a platform connecting Thailand’s beauty industry with buyers, investors, and partners from around the world, Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN Bangkok decided to bring this roadshow to Chiang Mai at a time when the T-Beauty movement is gaining clear international attention,” he said. “Our goal is to create a direct channel for beauty and wellness entrepreneurs in the North to access regional and ASEAN networks from their own home ground.”

The strength of northern Thailand’s beauty and wellness sector lies in its rich local resources and expertise, positioning the region for growth into a world-class hub. The Chiang Mai Roadshow gathered key industry leaders to share perspectives on building the T-Beauty brand and expanding its reach internationally.

Among the highlights, the Thai Spa Association outlined efforts to elevate Thai herbs, massage wisdom, and professional standards to meet international spa certification requirements while serving clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Tropicana Oil Co., Ltd. presented a successful case of transforming Thai coconut into a globally trusted product now sold in more than 20 countries. Meanwhile, Tofu Skincare Co., Ltd. showcased a digital-era business model that converts Thai herbal knowledge into exportable global ingredients, growing into a billion-baht T-Beauty enterprise.

The Chiang Mai Roadshow will take place on April 28, 2026, at U Nimman Chiang Mai Hotel. A special keynote session by Ms. Suwali Kiattikarn, Vice President of the Chiang Mai Provincial Chamber of Industry and Managing Director of T Gallery Group (Thailand), will address “Opportunities and Potential for Beauty & Wellness Entrepreneurs in Northern Thailand.” The session will be moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Wannee Rangsivichitrprapa, Dean of the School of Cosmetic Science at Mae Fah Luang University.

Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN Bangkok 2026 will return for its fifth edition at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok from June 24–26, 2026. The exhibition is expected to host more than 800 exhibitors and over 2,500 brands from more than 40 countries, spanning 30,000 square meters of exhibition space.

Covering the full spectrum of the beauty industry, the event will feature ready-to-sell products, cosmetics, and leading brands. For the first time, it will be held alongside Cosmopack CBE ASEAN Bangkok, a dedicated supply chain exhibition connecting raw material suppliers, ingredient manufacturers, packaging providers, and production technology companies worldwide. This integrated platform will enable Thai brands to access global innovation and expand their international partnerships.

Participants in the Chiang Mai forum will gain valuable insights and preparation ahead of Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN Bangkok 2026, taking an important step toward bringing the spirit of Lanna to the global stage with confidence and pride.
