Thailand Cultural Centre hosted “Concerto of Giving: Virtuoso, Voices and Vision” raising over 400,000 baht for northern projects.
This charity concert was organised by the Piano Academy of Bangkok in collaboration with the 159 Chamber Orchestra, the RoLD Fellows network, the Design for Society Centre at Chulalongkorn University (CUD4S), and sponsoring partners.
The performance featured 20 internationally awarded young artists who played alongside the 159 Chamber Orchestra. They were joined by more than 110 children and youth who came together to form the Forest Guardians Youth Choir. Their music conveyed messages of hope and inspired social change.
The concert successfully raised 426,299 baht for the Forest Guardians project. This project works with forest communities in four provinces: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nan, and Saraburi to prevent forest fires, reduce PM2.5 pollution, and restore local ecosystems.
