Chiangmai Ram Hospital, in collaboration with Central Chiangmai, has launched “Healthy Family Expo 2026” under the theme “Growing Healthy Together” to celebrate the hospital’s 33rd anniversary.
Chiangmai Ram Hospital and Central Chiangmai officially opened Healthy Family Expo 2026, a major health and wellness event held to mark the hospital’s 33rd anniversary.
The two-day expo takes place from 2nd–3rd August 2026 at the first-floor promotion area of Central Chiangmai. The event aims to provide the public with greater access to health knowledge and services, while inspiring people of all ages to take better care of themselves and their families.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assanee Buranupakorn, Mayor of Chiang Mai Municipality. Urarak Jantima, General Manager of Central Pattana Public Company Limited, also delivered a congratulatory address to mark Chiangmai Ram Hospital’s 33 years of service.
Representatives from government agencies, private-sector organisations, business partners and the media attended the ceremony to congratulate the hospital and witness the official opening.
During the ceremony, Dr. Sira Hantrakul, a member of the Chiangmai Ram Hospital Executive Board, spoke about the background and objectives of the event.
He noted that Thailand is rapidly becoming an ageing society, while changing lifestyles are contributing to an increase in non-communicable diseases, mental health concerns and emerging illnesses.
Healthcare, he said, should not begin only when a person becomes ill. Greater emphasis should be placed on prevention, health screening and health education, enabling people to care for themselves and their families appropriately throughout every stage of life.
Chiangmai Ram Hospital also places importance on children’s health, developmental support and strengthening both physical and emotional resilience. Encouraging healthy habits from an early age is regarded as an essential foundation for long-term wellbeing.
Over the past 33 years, Chiangmai Ram Hospital has continuously developed the quality of its medical treatment and services, providing comprehensive healthcare for people of all ages.
The hospital serves Thai residents, international patients and visitors from around the world through its experienced medical teams, modern technology and internationally recognised standards of care.
It has also played an important role in supporting Chiang Mai’s development as an internationally recognised medical hub, helping to build confidence in the province and Thailand’s healthcare sector.
Another significant milestone in 2026 is the expansion of services through Chiangmai Ram Hospital 2, a new seven-storey hospital focusing on paediatric care and the development of specialised medical centres.
The new hospital is intended to meet the growing healthcare needs of people in Chiang Mai and across northern Thailand and is scheduled to open during the fourth quarter of this year.
Healthy Family Expo 2026 features a wide range of activities throughout the two-day event, including basic health screenings, children’s eyesight tests, child growth and development assessments, body composition analysis and health talks led by specialist doctors.
Visitors can also access special healthcare promotions and enjoy performances showcasing the talents of young people from Chiang Mai.
The event encourages the public to place greater importance on health and work together towards creating a healthier society. It also serves as an expression of gratitude to the hospital’s patients, business partners and staff members, whose continued support has helped Chiangmai Ram Hospital grow and progress over the past 33 years under the theme “Growing Healthy Together.”
