Central Group, together with its affiliated companies, united in holding a nationwide 100-day Buddhist merit-making ceremony and almsgiving activities in royal dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, in remembrance of Her immeasurable grace.
Executives and employees of Central Group, including representatives from Central Chiang Mai and Central Chiang Mai Airport, along with members of the public, participated in the 100-day merit-making ceremony and almsgiving held at the forecourt of Central Chiang Mai shopping centre. The ceremony was conducted to dedicate royal merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, as an expression of profound gratitude and reverence.
On the morning of 2 February 2026, the ceremony at Central Chiang Mai commenced with due solemnity and royal decorum. The presiding chairman lit incense and candles in homage to the Triple Gem and paid respect before the royal portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. This was followed by religious rites, including the observance of the Five Precepts, the chanting of protective prayers, and the recitation of Buddhist scriptures by 93 senior monks.
Participants also presented offerings, including alms, monastic requisites, and ceremonial robes, dedicating the accrued merit as a royal offering in accordance with ancient royal traditions. The ceremony was conducted in an atmosphere of serenity, dignity, and solemn reflection.
