Central Department Store celebrated its 79th anniversary with “A Floral Celebration”, a colourful floral event held at Central Festival Chiang Mai, bringing together flowers, fashion, traditional Thai textiles and entertainment in a contemporary setting.
This year’s celebration drew inspiration from “Pha Sin Teen Jok”, the traditional handwoven textile known for its intricate patterns and distinctive craftsmanship. The concept reimagined this cultural heritage through vibrant floral decorations, combining traditional Lanna artistry with a fresh, modern aesthetic.
The celebration featured a special mini-concert by popular Thai singer New Napassorn (New The Star), alongside a selection of food and beverages, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors.
Held on Friday, 30 October 2026, from 3pm onwards at the Grand Hall on the first floor of Central Festival Chiang Mai, the event welcomed guests dressed in colourful floral-themed outfits, adding to the lively atmosphere.
The event formed part of Central’s 79th anniversary celebrations, highlighting the beauty of flowers, local cultural inspiration and memorable experiences for shoppers and visitors.
