Celebrate Loy Krathong by the Ping River at Kham Dara Restaurant

Experience the magic of Loy Krathong along the banks of the Ping River as Kham Dara Restaurant invites guests to its “Loy Krathong Riverside Experience 2026” on Tuesday, 24th November 2026.
Set in the charming Wat Ket neighbourhood on Charoen Rat Road, the restaurant offers a festive evening celebrating Northern Thailand’s traditions, complete with authentic Lanna cuisine, cultural performances and the opportunity to float krathongs on the Ping River.
Guests can enjoy a traditional Northern Thai food market featuring freshly prepared local favourites, including miang kham, khanom krok, chicken khao soi, pork satay, som tam, pad Thai with prawns, pork hang lay curry, sai ua (Northern Thai sausage), nam prik ong, nam prik num and crispy pork crackling served with fresh vegetables.
A buffet dinner will also be available, featuring honey-glazed pork ribs, turmeric-fried sea bass, creamy tom yum with prawns, fried chicken wings, mixed salad, steamed rice, ruby water chestnuts in coconut milk and seasonal fruits.
Longan juice and butterfly pea flower drinks are included in the package, while additional beverages are available to order separately.
Throughout the evening, guests will be entertained by six traditional Lanna cultural performances, showcasing the region’s artistic heritage.
Each guest will also receive a krathong to float from the restaurant’s riverside landing, taking part in one of Thailand’s most cherished annual traditions.
Tickets and Reservations
The Loy Krathong Riverside Experience is priced at 2,500 baht net per person, including dinner, cultural performances, selected beverages and one krathong.
An Early Bird rate of 2,000 baht net per person was offered until 10th October 2026, limited to the first 15 reservations, with priority riverside seating and a special fresh-flower krathong.
Advance reservations are required, with full payment upon confirmation of availability.
