Two Burmese Men Attacked by Sword-Wielding Motorcycle Gang

CityNews — On the night of July 9th, rescue officers administered first aid to two male teenagers that had been beaten and cut by a motorcycle gang on Chang Klan road.

The injured teenagers, who were identified as Sai Tan, and Sai Jan, both 20 years old and from Burma, had both suffered injuries on the back and head and fled to the Iron Bridge where they called for help. Officials took the victims to the hospital immediately as they were suffering from heavy bleeding.

According the victims, they were riding on a motorcycle along Chang Klan road when a group of around 40-50 teenagers also on motorcycles began to chase them. One of the teenagers had a foot long sword and attacked them with it.

The victims insisted that they did not know who the gang was and had no previous altercations with them.

Police are now searching for the attackers.
