CityNews – Police and the Army conducted a crack-down on illegal immigrant workers on Assadathorn Road during the early morning of April 9.
The crack down was to check the immigration status of foreign workers in the area, and if they are found to working illegally but have the right documentation to be in the country, they would be sent to the Ministry of Labour to help find official employment.
The investigation saw 9 illegal immigrant workers in the area. All investigated were also checked for drugs.
