CityNews – July 8, police arrested Somboon Fumfei or Somboon Chantip, 67, of Sarapee’s Tha Wang Tan sub-district, on assault charges.
On June 13, the police were informed that a girl aged under 18 was assaulted outside a school on Charoen Prathet road in Chang Klan area.
After inspecting the scene and questioning the victim and witnesses, the police were able to identify the suspect, Somboon, who had been arrested on assault charges many times.
After having been on the run, Somboon was finally arrested at his house on July 7. However, he refused to admit his crime. He will be prosecuted.
