CityNews – Around 20 migrant workers from Myanmar, along with their employees, were arrested by immigration officials and police after a construction site and animal feed factory were raided last week.
The first group was arrested at a construction site in Nong Pa Krang, Muang District. The others were arrested at an animal feed factory in Nong Kwai, and another site in Ban Waen, Hang Dong District.
Employees of the migrant workers were also arrested under section 38, for not telling the Immigration Bureau about employing migrant workers.
Police told the press that they will continue to search for illegal migrant workers.
The investigation continues.
