Chiang Mai’s first Nai Soi Festival to mark the opening of Spice Garden

Street Party Celebration for Visionary

Lifestyle and Culture Development

The historic quarter plays host to its first street party on December 7. Chiang Mai’s first ever Nai Soi Festival will mark the opening of Spice Garden, a new lifestyle and culture quarter.

The festival will introduce to the city a significant new development that will support community life via initiatives for businesses, artists, and musicians. Festivities will include a jazz parade, live music, DJs, and street art. Visitors can soak into Spice Garden’s cultured ambience while enjoying a wide selection of enticing food and drink.

The laidback Spice Bar is the place to enjoy exotic tropical cocktails and local beers. A more sophisticated ambience can be discovered at the Brasserie, a second bar where premium whiskies and spirits can be enjoyed. The Brasserie transforms into a genteel day venue for coffee, cakes and light bites.

Headlining the development’s selection of individual venues is a fine dining French Indochine restaurant, sister of Sydney’s award winning Mekong. Both restaurants share the same name, and now also the same chef, Tiw Rakarin, returning to his native north Thailand to serve up a second helping of success.

Less formal eating, from a variety of cuisines, can be found at food stations around the grounds, and also from The Kitchen, the second of Spice Garden’s restaurants, which features relaxed al fresco dining in the lush, tropical garden.

The final element completing Spice Garden’s mantra of “Eat Drink Play Stay” is delivered by Spice House, the development’s bijou 16 room boutique hotel.

The arrival of Spice Garden is a cause for celebration. And there is one – not to be missed – from 5.00pm, Saturday, December 7 @ Spice Garden.
