CityNews – On October 17, the VR Cafe located in Chang Klan invited a number of press outlets to experience and promote their brand new VR cafe, equipped with top of the range VR equipment for all ages to enjoy.

The cafe features two high end computers hooked up with HTC VR systems that can play the vast majority of VR games out there including a number of Oculus games too. Immersing yourself in a 360 degree visual world has never been so easy, with a dedicated team of staff ready to show you the way. They even have a PS4 VR system if that is more your style.

Feel as if you are stepping into a holodeck on the Star Trek Enterprise as you hook up and get stuck in. They have peaceful exploration games, exciting arcade games such as Fruit Ninja and more intense video games that involve guns, movement and precision. All games run at around 140 – 150 frames per second (Way over the recommended minimum of 90fps) which help prevent any motion sickness or disorientation from the VR headsets.

This is a unique experience available in Chiang Mai, for very reasonable prices. For locals who may come often, a membership is available after completing one hour of VR at the regular price that then discounts all future games by 50% for you and your immediate family.
