Student Exposed for Alleged Fraud

CityNews – A college first year student has been exposed on social media for fraud.

On August 6th, an unnamed Facebook account shared a picture of a university student from College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University who is accused of cheating people out of over 100,000 baht. The post has gone viral.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitipong Yodmongkol, dean of the College of Arts, Media and Technology revealed that the college is now investigating the claim. The college has had a meeting with the alleged student-thief, who is now 18 and in her first year of college, but refused to disclose any details. As she hails from Nan, her mother will be travelling to the college today, August 8th, to assist in the matter.

The dean stated that the college will be providing more information after a meeting with her mother.
