2,500,000 baht was budgeted for the three vehicles, and two companies bid for the right to provide the vehicles.

Jaroenthip Car wont the bid and set a budget of 2,486,000 baht, saving the sub-district 14,000 baht. However, the budget only covered two vehicles, 927,000 baht for a 130 horsepower Isuzu and 1,550,000 baht for a cable car.

Residents claim the prices proposed by the company are much higher than they should be and claim the company is involved with corruption.

The third vehicle has yet to be budgeted under the current proposal.

52 people and representative of the Doi Lo sub-district handed the letter to City Hall accusing the company of inappropriate use of tax funds.

Lt.Col Prayoon Uthayan received the letter and promised to send the letter to the Damrongtham centre and confirmed to send authorities to Doi Lo to help with the claim.
