CityNews – On March 16th, it was reported that Saranyu Meetongkam, district chief officer of Chiang Mai’s Muang District, assigned a team to inspect pubs according to the policy of social management.

The inspection took place at pubs behind Soi Wat Umong, King Rama 9 Park, and Nong Hor area. It was revealed that there were violations. Chu Kaew Pub was charged for selling alcohol to people under age 20 and Panda Pub near Gim Park area was charged for selling alcohol without permission and selling alcohol near an education institution. Both pubs will be prosecuted.
