CityNews – A man from Mae On district who was found dead in his house, with a gunshot wound to the head, is believed to have committed suicide.
The body was discovered in the early morning of November 17 by his brother who had heard a gunshot and rushed to investigate. He found 37-year-old Songkran Na Nampon with a gunshot wound to his head. He was found still holding the gun.
There was no sign of foul play.
According to his brother, Songkran has locked himself away in his house after his wife divorced him three months ago.
Police believe Songkran committed suicide due to stress following his divorce.
The investigation continues.
