CityNews – A Lisu woman was arrested with over 5,000 yaba pills, heroin, raw opium, a gun, a grenade and over 55,000 baht in cash after she was caught by police on July 27 following a tip-off.
The woman, 35-year-old Nahae Jabue, was arrested in Chiang Dao following a tip-off that narcotics would be transported in the area.
A man and a woman were approached but the man managed to flee police. The woman was arrested after a small chase on foot.
Nahae awaits prosecution.
