CityNews – Heavy rain over the weekend caused massive floods in Chiang Dao on July 24, damaging homes and cutting off communities.
Rescue teams visited the area to help people leave their homes and keep safe.
Another area affected by flooding was Baan Pong, in Chaiprakarn, where properties were also damaged.
Once the rain stopped yesterday afternoon, the water levels declined within hours.
People are now able to return to their homes, but properties and assets have been destroyed.
