CityNews – Whoever can stomach a 3kg bowl of noodles, in under 25 minutes, get it for free and forever named a champion at the It’s Noodles Cham Dang Noodle shop in Doi Kaew!
The noodles, which are served in a 1 foot wide bowl weighing 3kg, are just 99 baht but free to anyone who eats them in under 25 minutes. CityNews’ associate reporters paid a visit to the Cham Dang Noodle shop to witness the noodle challenge first hand.
The current record is 12 minutes and 45 seconds, with a picture of the champion on the wall. The owner of the shop, Sarawut New Watanawong, is challenging the people of Chiang Mai and tourists alike to come and challenge the champion.
