CityNews – The first frost of this winter season was found near the top of Doi Inthanon on the early morning of December 10, close to the Air Force radar station.
According to Pornthep Charoensuebsakul, head of Doi Inthanon International Park, tourists who set up tents in the area the previous day woke to watch the sunrise but were amazed to see the first frosts of the winter.
Frost can be found on Doi Inthanon between the months of December to January, where temperatures can get as low as 0 degrees Celsius.
