CityNews – A dried river bed in Ban Pae has been converted into a sandy beach for a ‘Summer Beachgames’ event to help promote awareness of the drought and sport in Jomthong, Hod, Doi Tao and Omkio.
The Mayor of Ban Pae, Pansak Kaewsudjai, announced today that the sandy area has been converted into a 5-side-football pitch and a beach volleyball court.
The Summer Beachgames will take place from March 28 to April 6 where over 30 teams are expected to join.
