Driver with Dementia has License Revoked

CityNews – The Land Transport Office has revoked the driver license of the woman driver with dementia involved in a road rage incident.

Following the case on a driver who rammed an airport security guard. After The Dementia Association of Thailand has confirmed that Patra Boonchaloew is a dementia patient, Chiang Mai Land Transport Office has issued a request to revoke her driver license to the Lampang Office who has granted the request.

The license she held was issued under the former law which does not have the expiration date and does not require renewal.

The police say that they have yet to file charges against the woman as they are still in the process of collecting evidence. As to the security guard, he has gained his consciousness but still being hospitalised.
