CityNews – A large storm passed over Chiang Mai in the early hours of June 29, causing many floods and severe traffic jams from the early morning through midday.
Sriping Muang Community, Kad Kom Community, Chiang Mai College of Dramatic Arts, Wieng Ping Road and Suriyawong Road were severely affected.
Police sent emergency teams of traffic police to the most affected areas to help control and ease congestion.
The Chiang Mai Meteorological Department is warning people to be wary of heavy rain and flooding during the rainy season.
