CityNews – Activists in Chiang Mai gathered and protested for justice in the infamous black panther case involving Italian-Thai Development president Premchai Karnasuta.

On March 4, a group of local artists and the public gathered at Central Kad Suan Kaew wearing printed t-shirts of a black panther, with a message reading ‘we fight for panthers’. The gathering was held to express condemnation against the black panther case that has been widely followed in recent weeks.

Other locals have also joined the protest in small ways, such as a hairdresser in Hang Dong who designed a black panther haircut after he was contacted by a customer who revealed later that he hopes that this will help bring more awareness to the case and lead to justice being served.
