CityNews – Chiang Mai Zoo is urged to check the safety of their Tarzan Extreme attraction after a Chinese tourist died after falling 12 metres.
A Chinese tourist known as Mr Suxongtao, fell 12 metres after an accident while playing on the extreme sling section of the Tarzan Extreme attraction in Doi Saket.
Many organisations have called for the zoo to check the safety of the attraction to prevent further accidents.
Mr. Nipon Vichairat, Chiang Mai Zoo Caretaker Director has confirmed that his team will examine the Tarzan Extreme sling and check for all faults.
He also added that from now on, staff will always be on site to give instructions and check that visitors are using the equipment properly.
