Argument Between Friends Ends With Murder

CityNews – A dispute between friends ended in murder after unrelated brawl.

In the early hours of July 8th, police received a report of a homicide in Don Pao, Mae Wang. The deceased was found on the street covered in fatal wounds. Police quickly identified a suspect who was the victim’s friend, Nutchot Kaewchareon, 37, who was the last person to be seen with the victim that night. He was found at his home and arrested after he confessed to the murder.

The incident occurred on July 7th when the suspect and the victim were out for a drink. Nutchot explained that while they were hanging out, a group of three men approached and attacked them. The brawl was stopped after other people at the bar intervened. On their way home, Nutchot asked the victim why they were attacked, to which he explained about a love affair. Nutchot told police he became upset that they were attacked for something not to do with him which led to a fight between the two. He told police he attacked the victim until he was unconscious and fled the scene.
