CityNews – The body of a 13 year old boy who went missing during a scout camp has been found in a pond, suspected to have drowned.
The boy went missing from a local scout camp at Pitimathuphum dhamma retreat, Ban Panggong, Mae On, Chaing Mai on Janaury 19. As soon as the camp staff realised he was missing, police were called and a search party organised.
His body was found two days later in a pool. Police believe the boy got lost then fell into the pool, unable to get out and evenutally drowning.
His parents have been informed and further investigations are underway to confirm the cause of death.
