Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai has elevated the town’s fine dining to another level with an exquisite brunch featuring champagne, blinis and caviar along with some serious seafoods. The blinis are served classically, topped with French sturgeon, lump fish, flying fish and salmon roe caviar from Kaviari, one of the finest producers in the world. A sommelier will be in attendance for additional advice and information to find the perfect pairing for your feast. Seafood lovers will be faced with a bewildering variety of great produce such as five types of oyster from France and Australia including fines de claire oysters, served with specially selected sauces and side dishes, an array of lobsters and Alaskan king crab, all of which are cooked to order. There is also a live station of Japanese cuisine where diners can enjoy watching the chefs slice slithers of sashimi and roll mouthwatering sushis. And that’s not all, moving on to the BBQ station, carnivores can start getting excited as this station features Australian beef, lamb chops, and black Angus beef. And if you are into decadence, then why not sample the melt-in-the-mouth foie gras served with berry sauce before heading over to the pasta station and ending it all at the desserts station. The buffet is available on the first Sunday of the month between 12 – 3pm for 2,988 baht per person (food only) and 5,488 baht per person (free flow champagne). Children below 12 receive a 50% discount and children under 6 years old dine for free.
