Sakanaya Chiang Mai Halal Japanese Restaurant and Coffee House
Sakanaya Chiang Mai, a brand new Japanese restaurant on Nimmanhaemin Road, is inspired by the Halal way of cooking. Every dish is cooked with care while the delicate nature of Japanese food perfectly reflects the antique collection of furniture that has made this restaurant one that really stands out in an otherwise modern area of town. Dishes that just cannot be missed include the sashimi, every Japanese food fan’s vice. Sakanaya selects only the highest quality fish, such as salmon, salmon roe, tuna, mackerel and aji. Apart from the seafood, there are also a number of steak dishes made in the Japanese style, such as the Wagyu steak served in a hot pan, a signature dish of the restaurant. 
For coffee fans, a quiet coffee house named ‘Shewitkhontammada Coffee House’ is tacked onto the side, serving up freshly brewed coffee, tea, and desserts all day.
