Wawee Bistro by Mama’s Kitchen
Wawee Bistro, right in the heart of the city, opened with a bang a few months back with Chef Andrew Commins setting the bar high with his European gastro-deli menu. The Chiang Mai coffee brand has now paired up with another great local chef, Chef Nina the owner of Mama’s Kitchen, who brings a wealth of experience in South Asian cuisine to the new Wawee Bistro in the Meechok area. If you are feeling like a strong cup of coffee with a great meal infused with spices and flavour, then pop in and try the chicken Karachi with nan, or if you are a fan of cheese and spinach, then the palak paneer will hit the spot, and if you are partial towards more Middle Eastern flavours, then dig into the healthy hummus and falafel. This is a bold and tasty menu which you can wash down with some freshly brewed coffee, or the selection of fruit drinks.
