ความยอดนิยมของทุเรียนในหน้าฤดูกาลปีนี้ ได้รับการตอบรับจากชาวไทยและนักท่องเที่ยวอย่างล้นหลาม กระทรวงพาณิชย์จึงได้จัดงาน Thailand King Fruit Paradise Durian Buffet หรือบุฟเฟ่ต์ทุเรียนในราคา 399 บาทต่อท่านขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรกในเชียงใหม่ ผู้เข้าร่วมงานจะได้พบกับทุเรียนคุณภาพดี และหลากหลายสายพันธุ์ให้เลือกรับประทานไม่อั้น ไม่ว่าจะเป็น พันธุ์หมอนทอง พันธุ์ชะนี หรือพันธุ์ก้านยาว ตลอดจนถึงผลไม้หน้าฤดูกาลอีกหลายชนิดที่ผลัดเปลี่ยนมาให้เลือกชิมตามช่วงเวลาที่ออกผลผลิต อาทิ มะม่วง กล้วย แตงโม ลิ้นจี่ เงาะ มังคุด แก้วมังกร ลำไย มะละกอ ขนุน แคนคาลูป สับปะรด เสาวรส ลองกอง สละ ชมพู และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย
