Chef Somyot Pokpong, Resort Executive Chef of Khu Khao, Raya Heritage Hotel, has designed a weekend experience which shouldn’t be missed with two set brunch menus: River & Earth and Garden. Each set comes with 10 courses under the concept of Crossroads that blends flovours from various cultures.
River & Earth comes with fresh organic ingredients (meat, fish, green veggies sent from farmers’ network around Chiang Mai). The menu includes miso & onsen tomago egg, fish from Chiang Dao topped with organic egg in miso sauce which Shan fermented beans to enhance the taste, and grilled beef kimchi, which uses vegetables from the Royal Project, together with organic meat sent from Aden farm.
For vegetarians, the Garden set includes stir-fried avocado Northern curry, avocado mixed with local herbs with a bold flavour soup paste while the chaat mushroom is another mouthwatering dish with eringi mushrooms served with a mixed Indian and Thai herbal sauce. Both sets come with desserts to compliment a special meal for a wonderful weekend.
