This hip little hotel set in the heart of the ‘Na Mor’ (in front of Chiang Mai University’s main gate) market, has set itself apart from all the others.
Graffiti art line the wall as you walk into the lobby which also happens to be the bar. Mixed and matched street food, mainly Thai but with some international representations, are served casually in the bar as well as in the Merry Go Round restaurant. Dishes are designed to be simple and authentic in flavour, and we had a great time digging into their spaghetti with Northern style hung-le curry, the spaghetti with Northern Thai spicy sausage, the panned egg dish or the morish sticky rice set.
Move from the restaurant back to the CNX Street Bar which is dotted with fun games such as foosball and beer pong as well as fun street style décor. There are some really interesting locally-inspired cocktails which use quality Thai premium spirits as well as all the classics and either chill out, take a dip in the pool, challenge your friends to a game of beer pong or watch some sports on TV.
A really unique place to hang out with good food, good drinks and all at great prices.
